Comments Needed on Plans for

John Day Basin, Oregon

The Bureau of Land Management has published a draft Resource Management Plan and Environmental Impact Statement for the John Day Basin in Oregon.

BLM states they intend to combine the Baker, John Day, and Two Rivers Resource Management Plans into one consolidated RMP.

If you would like to make sure your land use plans are included in the new RMP, I would suggest you review the documents and provide your own constructive comments.

The documents are available on the BLM website.

Comments are due by January 29, 2009.
