THE NEW WEBSITE IS HERE!!!

It’s loading as I type this (it's about 5:30 pm PST), so if you are sending us an email right now it may get rejected. We are redirecting traffic from the old servers to the new servers. It may take several hours to propagate across the Internet.

The new site will look quite a bit different—you may want to hit your refresh button every once in awhile as you read this to see if it's up yet!

This is the new site—if it looks like this, then it has finished loading!

This has been an ongoing project for almost three years. Finally, subscribers will be able to read articles online! Obviously, we’re a little bit excited about it—and a bit tired from the late hours we’ve been putting in to get to this milestone.

Some of the pages have not yet been converted to the new site, but we wanted to go ahead and launch it at this stage so you can begin to enjoy the benefits.

There are two options for reading articles online.

Here’s how it works…

If you are an existing print subscriber, you can create an account using your existing account number. Your account number is printed on your mailing label just above your name.

If you are a new subscriber, and you choose either the print/online combination or the online only option, you will receive an email after you subscribe.

Once you have activated your account, you can click on the Table of Contents for an issue and read any article you wish. December 2008, January 2009 and February 2009 issues have been loaded so far. The March 2009 will be added around midnight on February 26th.

If you are reading an article you particularly like, you can click on the author’s name to view other articles by that author.

After we fix up the remaining web pages that still need a little work, we will continue to load back issues starting from the most current ones and working our way back through the years as time permits. Our goal is to make every issue available online at the rate of at least one back issue per week—all the way back to the very first issue in 1931!

The search function is not finished yet, but the web guys are working on it and we hope to have it available shortly.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

Sincerely,
